Hunting
in the mountains
The most common type of hunting in the
mountains is for willow grouse and ptarmigan while capercaillie
and black grouse are hunted in the pine forests below the mountain
chain. Even here, common sense is required. Never shoot more than
you can take care of.
Non-residents of the Nordic countries must apply for a license
from a provider approved by the county administrative board. A
hunting guide must also take part in the hunt. The hunting guide
must meet the requirements for hunting guide for hunters from
outside the Nordic countries established by the county administrative
board.
Fiskflyg does not sell hunting licenses.
