Nature
reserves
There are 2,600 nature reserves. This is
the most used form of protection of our Swedish nature. As with
the national parks, each reserve has its own set of regulations
and rules.
Nature reserves can be created
to:
• Preserve biological diversity
• Care for, maintain, protect, restore or recreate
valuable natural environments
• Meet the needs of an area for outdoor
recreation
• Protect, restore, or recreate living
environments for protect species
There are two nature reserves within Fiskflyg’s range: Stubba
and Sjaunja.
