Boat fishing

With helicopter and an inflatable boat as a part of your luggage, you can experience great angling from boat in one of Ritsems many lakes. In the deep crystal clear water you will find large Arctic char and Brown trout. At the same time as you are waiting for that big catch, you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the surrounding mountains. Below are a couple of lakes in Ritsem very suitable for Angling fishing from boat.

Vidjajaure

About 30 km north-east of Ritsem. The lake has a beautiful location in the middle of the Ritsem mountain area. The lake is 3.5 km long and 1,6 km wide. With skill and a little bit of luck, you will catch really large arctic chars here.
Species: Arctic char.

Skuokejaure

Skuokejaure

About 32 km to the north-west of Ritsem you will find this beautiful lake, situated 632 meters above sea level, 4 km long and 1 km wide with beautiful sceneries over Swedish Lapland. Here you can enjoy great boat fishing for Arctic char and Brown trout.

Kabdajaure

Kåbdajaure

About 50 km to the north-west of Ritsem (Kåptåjaure). If you want to fly to a beautiful mountain lake in the Ritsem area we would recommend Kåbdåjaure. The lake is located next to the Swedish/Norwegian border, about 8 km long, 3 km wide and 688 meters above sea level. This lake offers beautiful sceneries and great fishing.
Species: Arctic char, Brown trout.

Kalpejaure

Kalpejaure

About 30 km to the west o Ritsem. If you are looking for beautiful lake with crystal clear waters we can recommend Kalpejaure. The lake is located next to Sarek national park’s north-westerly border, about 722 meters above sea level. The lake is 4.5 km long, 2 km wide and offers great boat fishing.
Note: Fishing in the nearby lake Stipokjaure next to Kalpejaure is forbidden (within Sarek national park).
