Helicopter
safety
The tail and main rotors are often operating
during boarding and exiting and loading and unloading. Both personnel
and passengers must take particular precaution when near the aircraft.
Always follow instructions you receive from Fiskflyg personnel.
Boarding:
• Wait at specified distance from the helicopter
before the pilot signals to board. Personnel
on site will help with loading baggage.
• Board the helicopter when the pilot gives the
signal, put on your seatbelt and headset.
• Make sure your mobile phone is turned off.
Exiting:
• Wait until the pilot gives the signal to exit the helicopter.
• Move forward when leaving the helicopter.
• Maintain the specified distance when the helicopter is
taking off and hold on to things so
they do not blow away.
• Never walk behind the helicopter. Always walk in front
of it if you have to walk near it.
• Hold fishing poles and long objects horizontal.
• When unloading, our personnel will take out baggage. Hold
on to light objects and do not
throw or pass objects to other people near the helicopter
since they blow into the helicopter’s
tail rotor or main rotor causing major damage. |
